Blackbraid quickly followed up their 2022 debut in 2023 with more native folk infused furious black metal. This is by no means a sophomore slump as it is equally excellent, methodical, melodical, and approachable as the first record. 9/10

Upon recently discovering Wayfarer through this album, they have immediately become a top contender for my favorite metal band, alongside Watain and Zeal & Ardor. Absolutely stunning album through and through. As the young’ns might say, it’s a vibe.

Brilliant album with such a beautiful atmosphere. And it gets even more intense live. I had the wonderful chance to see Sylvaine in Marseille and it was a blast.
